In 1995 six workers, professionals, unemployed after the closing down of SA Prunier , create in one of the old buildings still standing , the MGM, General Mechanics Montbard, a subcontractor company : metal working mainly, but also stone, wood, for firms, agriculture and individual.
In 1995 the city of Montbard was leasing the first building (230m ²). Then in 1996 three workers came as reinforcements. They were nine people. The second part of the building was rent to install the machines (ie 210m ²). This expansion was of course an encouragement for MGM. The firm proposed to purchase the buildings and it was accepted. Then in 2001 MGM bought adjacent plot of 3600m ² to France Telecom. In 2008, to support teh development, a new building of 250m ² was built in a few weeks. MGM reaches the number of 17 persons working in the factory in 2008.
